The Outstanding Tax Collector of the Year should be selected on the basis of individual leadership in county or municipal government, as evidenced by outstanding performance of duties and responsibility of office and performance of services of value to other counties or municipalities of the state. Nominations for this award to be presented to the awards committee by any member of the Association. It shall be the responsibility of the Awards Committee to select a worthy recipient annually.
